Deepavali rituals held at Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt ; seers play Kabaddi

Udupi, Oct 19, 2017:  To mark the festival of Deepavali,   Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt and Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Swamiji of Krishnapura Mutt performed  Thaila Abhyanjana Shastra at the Sri Krishna Mutt on October 18, Wednesday on the occasion of Naraka Chaturdashi. The ritual was held under the guidance of  Vedamurthy Purhohit.

Later, the Sode Seer Sri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha along with  Paryaya Mutt’s Junior Swamiji Shri Vishwaprasanna Theertha played Kabaddi at the dining hall of the Mutt along with other  staff.  During the game the Pejawar junior seer emerged as a  talented Kabaddi player.
