Dead infant comes alive at burial ground

Ullal, Aug 24, 2014:   An infant belonging to Pushparaj and Gauri of Kumpala Vidyanagara, born premature was declared dead by doctors.  Just before burial at the burial ground, it was found alive when milk was poured in the baby’s mouth as a part of the rituals, at Chembugudde on August 23.

 

Recap : Gauri had a premature delivery on August 15 at one of the private hospitals in Deralakatte and the baby was kept in the incubator. However, the doctors at the hospital had declared the baby dead on August 23. Pushparaj and his family members decided to bury the baby at Chembugudde burial ground.  during the last rites ritual, the relatives and Pushparaj poured milk into the mouth of the baby and noticed the movement in the body of the baby and soon it opened the eyes. The baby was rushed to a hospital in Mangalore and is recovering.  Pushparaj has filed a complaint against the doctor in Ullal police station. Further investigations are on.
