Dasara Holiday camp for students inaugurated at Shakthi institutions

Mangaluru, Oct 09, 2018:  Dasara holiday camp for students "Shakthi Can Create"   organised by Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi Pre-University College at Shakthinagar, was inaugurated by  Rev Vijay Harvin, Correspondent of Sudana Residential School of Puttur on October 9, Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rev Vijay Harvin  exhorted students to give equal importance to extra-curricular activities along with their studies. Schools must give enough attention towards the development of the personality of the students, he added. Teachers must try to identify the areas of interests of the students and accordingly encourage them in the respective field, he further stated.

Corporator Akhila Alva who was present as a chief guest, said such camps go a long way in enriching the knowledge of the children.

K C Naik, Managing Trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna Temple, presided over  the function.  Management Board Member of Shakthi institutions Suguna C Naik, Chief Advisor Ramesh K, Development Officer Naseem Banu, Administrative Officer Baikady Janardhana Achar,  Principal of Shakthi PU College Prabhaker GS  and others were present.
