Karkala, July 22, 2016 : Acting upon a complaint that the yet to be released Tulu movie ’Dabak Dabaa Aisa’ of Jayakirana Films and produced by Prakash Pandeshwar, has been leaked, police in Karkala have on July 21, Thursday raided several mobile shops and cyber centres in the town. It is learnt the police have questioned several people and have issued warning to them.
A person named Shashikanth of Kuntalpady in Karkala was first subject to enquiry by the cops and on the basis of his revelations, several of his associates too were questioned and warned.

It has been gathered that a mobile recharge shop close by Bhuvanendra College in the town was downloading the movies on the mobile phones of students and other film buffs since the past few days for Rs 20 per download.
Karkala Police have also summoned several cyber centres and mobile recharge shop owners in the town and have issued warning to them.
