DYFI stages protests; holds mock inaugural of Thokkottu flyover

Mangaluru, Dec 30, 2018:  The Ullal unit of the DYFI organised a mock inauguration of the Thokkottu flyover  in protest against the inordinate delay in the completion of the works despite the MP assuring to get the works completed by year end.

The protestors  wearing masks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel took out a procession and held a mock inaugural.

Speaking on the occasion, DYFI District Secretary Santosh Bajal said  Prime Minister Modi who came to power promising Achhe Din has failed to provide good roads. He said the protest is being held to  sensitize people on the false assurances of the MP.

Siddique Talapady of Gadinadu Rakshana Vedike, CPM  Secretary Krishnappa Salian and others addressed the protestors.
