Mangaluru, Dec 30 2019: The DK District Working Journalists’ Union organised a meeting at the Press Club on December 30, Monday to pay tributes to Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt who passed away on Sunday.
Offering his tributes to the seer, eminent theatrical personality and film director Vijaykumar Kodialbail said the Pejawar seer had a cordial relationship with the cultural field. He recalled his association with Sri Vishwesha Theertha and said he was a model saint who had fought against environment pollution by mega projects. His efforts to promote communal harmony and to eradicate untouchability are unforgettable, Vijaykumar added.
Senior journalist Harish Rai also spoke and recollected the several welfare initiatives in which the seer was involved. Carrying forward the good works done by the Pejawar swamiji is the best tribute to him, he observed.
