DGP Dutta ask cops to deal drugs racket with an iron hand

Mangaluru, Mar 4, 2017 :  DGP Rupak Kumar Dutta who was in Mangaluru on March 3, Friday while hailing  the police in Dakshina Kannada  district for keeping criminal activities under check also directed them to deal the drugs trafficking racket with an iron hand.

DGP Dutta Addressing a meeting of  top police officials at the  Office of the City Police Commissioner, he requested the Police Department to discharge its duties with the same determination.

The DGP also pointed out towards the letter addressed by Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to his Karnataka counterpart Siddaramaiah lauding the efficiency with which the Department had handled the situation during his visit to Mangaluru recently.

P Harishekharan, Western Range IGP, Chandra Sekhar, City Police Commissioner, Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, SP,  Shantaraju, ASP were among those present.

Well the police are acting on the tip to trace criminals as well as terminate crimes. It i the politics which divert them form revealing the fact and punishing the culprits
