DC orders CCTVs in sub-registrar offices in DK

Mangalore, July 12, 2014: Reports inform, to bring in transparency in administration and stem corrupt practices, DK Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim has directed all sub registrar offices to install CC cameras, before July 20.

A B Ibrahim Chairing a meeting, he said it is mandatory to display the fee prescribed for various applications in all sub registrar offices. He also directed officials not to conduct any private transactions inside the office.

The officials should prepare a list of fee prescribed for various government transactions and display it prominently at the office entrance.

All staff in sub registrars offices should declare the total cash in their hands every day. “No illegal cash transaction will be allowed in the office and if anyone demands money other than fee, then the matter should be brought to the notice of the Lokayukta. This message also should be displayed on the notice board prominently,” the Deputy Commissioner informed.
