Udupi, Apr 26, 2018:  A police constable attached to the District Armed Reserve Police in Udupi has been suspended on April 25, Wednesday  for posting a derogatory comment on Facebook. The accused has been identified as Raghavendra, a resident of police quarters in Manipal.


suspended.jThe complainant Mamatha K Shetty, wife of Kishore Kumar a Congress worker and resident of Heggunje had alleged that Raghavendra had made a derogatory comment to a post by Kishore on his achievements in the Congress party.

The accused Raghavendra was suspended after the Department conducted a preliminary investigation.
