Covid-19 vaccine dry run held in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi

Mangaluru, Jan 08, 2021:     Covid-19 vaccine  dry run was inaugurated in Dakshina Kannada district and Udupi by  Dr K V Rajendra and G Jagadeesh, Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts on January 8, Friday.

In  Mangaluru the dry run was held at the Government Wenlock Hospital while in Udupi it was held at the Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Haji Abdulla Memorial Mother and Child Government Hospital.

Speaking during the dry run held in Mangaluru, Deputy Commissioner Rajendra said in the first phase Covid warriors will get the vaccine. He also directed that all Covid guidelines have to be strictly followed by the people.

In Udupi DHO Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda, District Surgeon Dr Madhusudan Nayak, District Covid Nodal Officer Dr Prashanth Bhat and others were present.
