Covid-19 claims Udupi’s 4th victim as 72-year-old man from Davangere succumbs

Udupi, July 12, 2020: A 72-year-old man died of COVID-19 on Sunday morning taking the death toll in the Udupi district to four.
The deceased is a native of Davangere, he was suffering health ailments and had come to hospital in Manipal for treatment on July 9.A swab test was conducted after he was admitted, and the result confirmed that he had contracted the infection.
The funeral will be conducted at a cemetery near Diana circle here as per protocol, informed sources.
