Couple hailing from Udupi killed as car overturns in Hassan; children injured

Udupi, Jan 13, 2016 : A couple hailing from Udupi, met a tragic end and their two children sustained serious injuries when their car went out of control and over turned at Chikkagondanahalli near Channarayapatna in Hassan district on January 12, Tuesday.
The deceased are Ashok Prabhu (45) and his wife Ashwini Prabhu (35). Ashok who hailed from Pernankila was a software engineer in Bengaluru. The couple’s children Adarsh (10) and Ananya(8) have been hospitalised.
The family was returning to Bengaluru after visiting Pernankila, in a Nano car when the tragedy struck. It has been gathered that the car went out of control of Ashok who was driving the vehicle and soon overturned killing the couple on the spot.
A case has been registered by Hirisave Police.
