Udupi, Aug 7,2017: A couple hailing from Inna village of Karkala taluk who were travelling by the Matsyaganda Express were robbed of cash and jewellery worth lakhs by three fellow passengers who offered them juice laced with intoxicants. Sanjeeva Shetty was travelling to hometown Inna with his wife Ratna when the incident took place. A cash of Rs 50,000, jewellery weighing 56 grams, Rado watch worth Rs 45000 and cell phones were robbed.
Sanjeeva Shetty runs a paan beeda shop in Mumbai. A complaint has been registered at Anjani Railway station in Maharashtra.
