Corporation Bank gets new Executive Director

Mangaluru, Dec 28, 2018: Two top executives of Mangaluru-headquartered Corporation Bank have been appointed executive directors of two other nationalised banks, while the bank gets a new executive director.

S. Balakrishna Alse and K. Ramachandran, General Managers, Corporation Bank, have been appointed Executive Directors of Oriental Bank of Commerce and Allahabad Bank, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Union government appointed Birupaksha Mishra as an Executive Director of Corporation Bank.

Mr. Birupaksha Mishra assumed office here on Wednesday. A postgraduate and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), Mr. Mishra was General Manager of Central Bank of India. With 34-years experience in banking, he has held important assignments in Central Bank in various administrative and functional capacities.
