Corporal punishment in school,claims life of 11-yr-old in Uppala

Kasargod, Sep 12, 2017: In a pathetic incident ,a 11-year-old girl died after she collapses in school due to Corporal punishment. The incident came to light September 12, Tuesday.

Ayesha Mehennisa (11), sixth standard student of school in Uppala.

Family sources said that  two weeks ago  teacher had punished Mehennisa   severely for not answering well in her exams. She collapsed in school and later was hospitalised. As her condition did not improve, Mehenissa was shifted to hospital in Mangaluru where she breathed her last.

 
The girl’s relatives and locals blame the school for the death of Mehennisa.The exact reason is not ascertained yet, body has been shifted to Pariyaram Medical College, Hosiptal for autopsy.


Case of unnatural death has been registered.

What is the education department doing? Only by being cruel you can never train them instead the fear which cultivates in them never give them interest to learn , but who ever the teacher is has be thrown out of the institution and not wort being a teacher
