Cops seize 80 kg beef at Shirva ; arrest one person

Udupi, Jan 04, 2021: Acting on a tip off, Sullia Police who raided a place at Boothottu in Shirva have arrested one person on the charges of illegally selling beef.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Khalid (36), a local resident. Around 75 to 80 kg of beef was seized from him apart from a slaughtered male calf.
