Mangaluru, Mar 27, 2015: As many as 12 youngsters including four girls who were partying at a home stay at Maroli in the city were detained by the police who raided the place late night on March 26, Thursday. The youngsters who were taken to the station were later reportedly let off with a warning.
Sources said the youngsters who are from Bengaluru had booked the home stay for a party which they had even announced on a website.
It has been gathered that they had partied at the home stay on March 25 night too. However, when another party was held on March 26, Thursday night with this party too continuing till late hours, the disturbed locals informed the police as well as activists of a right wing organisation.
The police who wasted no time in raiding the place, had to jump over the compound as the gate was locked. The police found the partying youngsters on the top floor of the house. It is learnt, an elderly man opened the doors when the police knocked at the doors.
The partying boys and girls were separately taken to the station after Circle Inspector Pramod arrived at the spot.
Sources said so far no case has been registered.
