Mangalore, Aug 4, 2014:  The Barke police on  August 3, stated that they checked a house at Mannagudda, after an unidentified caller claimed that religious conversions and rituals were going on.

The house it is said is owned by one Shashiraj, who had leased it to one Dolphy, who has been using it hold prayers. It is known people often meet at the house for prayer. The police arrived at the house, and on inspection, found that the anonymous caller’s claims were false and no conversion activity had taken place in the house.

The police observed that a lady was granted a prayer and a thanksgiving was being held at the time of their visit and all was in order.  Police confirmed that nothing was amiss there and  left the scene.
