Container truck gets stuck; creates traffic snarl near Pumpwell

Mangaluru, Jan 02, 2015: A huge container truck which  got stuck between the divider and the footpath  in front of Indiana Hospital near Pumpwell,  created utter chaos resulting in traffic blockade for  nearly an hour on January 2, Saturday morning. Many  people who were on way to their offices and railway station were  completely upset following the traffic snarl.

It is gathered that the huge container which  was on way to Kasargod from Mangaluru, that too during peak hour,  got stuck when the driver tried to take a turn  towards the NH leading to Kerala. Soon long queues of vehicles were seen on either sides of the road, even as some two-wheeler riders tried to sneer through whatever space available.

Traffic Police who rushed to the spot had to struggle  to regulate  traffic by ensuring that the container truck moved  from the spot.
