Congress kickbacks case a black spot in state’s history: Eshwarappa

Mangalore Today News Network

eshwarappa in udupiUdupi, Feb 26, 2017: The Congress kickback case is a black spot in the history of the state. As the Govindaraju diary has already revealed that crores of rupees has been provided as kickbacks to top Congress leaders the CM should immediately tender his resignation," said senior BJP leader KS Eshwarappa. He also demanded the dissolution of the state assembly.

Speaking to media after visiting Sri Krishna Mutt on February 25, Saturday,  Eshwarappa  said  the CM who had earlier said that he would quit if there  is proof to the allegations, has now fallen silent.

Eshwarappa described as ridiculous and baseless the statements made by KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundurao. Let him prove his words with records, demanded the BJP leader.

On his Sangolli Rayanna Brigade, Eshwarappa said it was functioning well as an apolitical organisation. He further informed  that 10,000 meritorious PUC students will be given cash prize of Rs 2500 each on behalf of the Brigade.
