Congress hopeful of victory in upcoming Kotekar, Vittal GP polls

Mangaluru Apr 2, 2016: Dakshina Kannada Interim Congress President Ibrahim Kodijaal has exuded confidence that the Congress would gain an upper hand in the elections to the Kotekar and Vittal Gram Panchayats scheduled to be held on April 24.

Speaking to reporters at the Congress office on Friday April 1, he showered praises on Chief Minister Siddarammaiah for the several welfare initiatives of his government.

On the recent Zilla and Taluk Panchayat election results, he alleged that the BJP could emerge successful through its fake promises.

Speaking about II PUC question paper leak, he said the negligence of the PU Board was to be blamed for it and that the Minister cannot be held responsible for the same.

South Block President Nagendra Prasad, Nazeer Bajal, Corporator Ashraf and others were present.
