Jayachandra said "The prime minister had sought 50 days time to set things right (after demonetisation). He had asked people to set him on fire alive if he failed to overcome this test ..probably the time has come to burn him alive," at a programme in Tumkuru on Friday.

Sudheer Shettygar said, "As a fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, It was indeed alarming to read about Jayachandra’s conspiracy to murder Prime Minister and thus filed a complaint in Urva police station."

Sources in Urva police station informed that the complaint had been accepted and the next course of action will be decided in consultation with senior officers.
