Kasargod, Mar 31, 2016: As per reports, Cigarettes, electronic items and dress materials which were transported in a bus without paying the tax were seized by the Kasargod police on Wednesday, March 30.
The items were transported from Bengaluru to Kasargod in a private bus. While checking on Cherkala-Sullia road, the police found items without any documents of tax payment.
Based on a credible information that items have been transported from neighbouring states, Kasargod police have intensified checking in the private buses.
