Christmas celebrations at Fathima Retreat House bring joy to orphanage kids

Mangalore, Dec 26,2012: It was a day of merriment for nearly 200 children from six orphanages of Mangalore. They all had gathered at Fathima Retreat House in Mangalore on December 26, Wednesday for Christmas celebrations.
It was indeed a great day out for the kids of Bhagini Samaj, Shishu Nilaya, Zeenath Baksh Yatim Khana, Infant Mary’s Kulshekhar, Prashanth Nivas and Bala Yesu Nilaya of Jeppu and St Antony’s charity.
There was song, dance and skits by the children who shared the message of Jesus Christ. Various games were also conducted for the children and they received sweets and Christmas goodies on behalf of Fathima Retreat House.
Fr Eugene Lobo, Director of Fathima Retreat House said the event aimed at sharing the joy of Christmas with the lesser privileged children. He also urged the children to understand the message of Jesus and act accordingly.
