Mangaluru, July 28,2016: It is reported that Labour Department officials rescued a minor boy working at a canteen on K S Rao Road here on  July 27,Wednesday. The boy has been handed over to the Child Welfare Committee for rehabilitation.

Child labourerThe officials have filed a case against Sridevi canteen owner Prakash B N Dharanappa Gowda under the provisions of Section 3 of Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) 1986.


Employing child labour is an offence punishable with one year of imprisonment and a fine or Rs 20,000. People can pass on information on child labour to 0824-2433131, 2437479, 2435343 or childline 1098.

Pity them. Though they want to learn and be educated the family cannot spend . To be ashamed of the people who give birth to child but can’t take care of them leaving them in vain

Most of the time condition of the family drive them to this situation . They take action on the Children who work below 14 years. But do any one come forward to help them. Thee are left with no option.

Search for the actual reason why the children are brought to work . we cannot blame the owner because the family most of the time join the to work as they cannot afford to look after them .
