Kasargod, Jan 23, 2016: A tragic incident reveals that a man lost his life after the car he was driving plunged into an open well near Netanige in Kasargod on Jan 22 Friday. The deceased has been identified as Supreeth Rai (35), son of Amarnath Rai and Jayanthi.
According to one version, Supreeth drove his Alto 800 out of the car shed, the vehicle plunged into an open well located near his house. He suffered severe injuries in the accident. The locals and his family rushed to the spot and brought him out of the car. They then rushed him to a hospital in Puttur but he died on the way.
Supreeth is survived by his wife Soda, two children, parents and brothers Sagar and Guruprasad.
