Udupi: July 20, 2015: A 35-year-old man from Karkala died after his car plunged into the Mattu Dam near Katpadi, on Sunday, July 19.
The deceased has been identified as Sathish (35)
It is learnt that Sathish was returning from his wife’s house in Karkala to Mattu. He allegedly lost control and fell off the bridge near Katpadi Mattu, around 11.00 pm.
The locals immediately informed the police and the fire department. The police personals and fire department arrived at the spot and recovered the body from the river.
A case has been registered in the Kaup police station.
