Mangaluru, Nov 13, 2017: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Nov 12, Sunday said that his government was free from scams and scandals. The CM was speaking to the media  at Mangaluru International Airport. He was on a private visit to attend a marriage function on the out skirts.

He said the BJP is spreading lies as they have no issues to target the Congress government. "Is there any FIR registered against me? Did I go to jail," the CM reacted as saying when asked about Yeddyurappa’s statements that the BJP has documents to prove corruptions of Congress government.


B S Yeddyurappa recently had announced that the BJP legislators will present documents related to corruption against Congress government in the Legislature session that begins in Belagavi today Nov 13, Monday.


To a query on BJP’s allegations that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has not proceeded with 30 cases against him, Siddaramaiah said, "When there is no evidence, they (ACB) will wind up the case. How many FIRs registered against Yeddyurappa? Didn’t he go to jail? There is no corruption charge against us. However, they (BJP) are spreading lies."


On a demand to ban fundamental organisations, the CM said, "We oppose any criminal organisations that belongs any community or religion. Be it a Hindu organization or a Muslim organization."
