Mangaluru, September 27, 2020: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths of Mangaluru probing the drug case arrested another peddler from the city. The arrested is identified as Mohammed Shakir.

The arrest was made based on the information provided by dancer Kishore Aman Shetty and Aqeel Nausheel (28), who also reportedly peddled drugs in addition to consuming it.

A Actor and TV host Anushree, who was summoned by Mangaluru city police in connection with a drugs case, was grilled for nearly four hours on Saturday by a team led by the DCP (crime and traffic). The interrogation was held at the Mangaluru north sub-division office in Panambur.

Sources from the police department told that Anushree has not given clear answers to some of the questions posed by them. “There are many ambiguities. We will ask her to appear again before the police,” said a senior official.

Anushree told the media that she has answered all the questions asked by police. “I am ready to appear before police any time they want me to. I had worked with Kishore and Tarun about 12 years ago, for six months. Thereafter, I was never in contact with them, and there is no question of me partying with them,” she said.
