Brahmavar : Head constable dies in tragic road accident

Brahmavar, Apr 15 2019: A head constable of the Kundapur police station who had sustained critical injuries in a road mishap on the National Highway 66 near Kumragod Cross on the evening of April 14 has breathed his last on Monday morning.
The deceased is Chandrashekhar (42). He was on way to Sastan from Brahmavar on his bike when a speeding tempo hit his two-wheeler from behind and fled the scene. A critically injured Chandrashekhar was rushed to Manipal hospital.
However he succumbed on Monday. Chandrashekhar who hailed from Uppinakudru was serving the department for the past 17 years and is survived by his wife and two children.
