Both Karkala bus stands to be used - Udupi DC

Udupi, July 18, 2014:  Deputy Commissioner Muddumohan has issued directions for the use of both the new bus stand in Bandimutt and the old bus stand in Karkala city.  The order has been issued to ensure both the bus stands are utilised to ease the movement of vehicles.

 

All buses starting from Bandimutt bus station, heading towards Bhavani circle will move in one way through Salmara road old bus stand Ananthashayana road Danashale - Anekere.  Buses coming to Karkala from Mangalore should pass through Navodaya Circle - Bhavani circle Karkala bypass road - Attur Dwara road and reach Nakre Junction. Later, they should go to Bandimutt bus stand via Taluk office road.  After boarding/alighting passengers at Bandimutt, the buses should reach the old bus stand through Salmara road and after boarding/alighting passengers, should proceed further through Ananthashayana circle, Danashale and Bhavani Circle.

The buses which have been exempted from entering Bandimutt bus stand should reach the old bus stand through the three lane road and should exit through Ananthashayana - Danashale, as per schedule.  Buses coming from Udupi and Hebri to Karkala city should pass through Karkala Taluk Office junction and board/unboard passengers from Bandimutt. Later, they would proceed towards Old bus stand through Salmara road and board/unboard passengers.

Then, the buses may go to Marker road SVT circle-Pervaje-Kallotte and proceed further.

Buses from Tellaru-Kervashe-Dargah, should reach Bhavani circle through Ananthashayana circle and arrive at Bandimutt new bus stand after passing through Karkala bypass. After boarding/ alighting passengers at Bandimutt new bus stand, they should arrive at the old bus stand through Salmara route and exit from Ananthashayana circle.  The buses which have been exempted from entering Bandimutt bus stand should reach the old bus stand through the three lane road and exit from Ananthashayana circle.

Buses from Palli-NakreKuntadi-Attur, should come through Karkala Taluk office junction and reach Bandimutt bus stand. After boarding/dropping passengers, they should go to old bus stand to pick up / drop passengers. Later, the buses will proceed as per schedule, to Ananthashayana circle through Kallotte route.

Buses arriving at Karkala city from DharmasthalaBelthangadi-GuruvayanakereBajagoli-Renjala-Kuduremukha and from Shringeri should reach Bandimutt bus stand through Pulkeri-Bhavani circle-Nakre circle - Taluk Panchayat (Buses without exemption). After picking / dropping passengers at Bandimutt, they may reach old bus stand through Salmara route and proceed further towards Ananthashayana circle-DanashaleAnekere-Bhavani circle. The buses which have exempted from entering Bandimutt bus stand should reach told bus stand through the three lane road and exit through Ananthashayana circle-Danashale.

The buses arriving from Dharmasthala-BelthangadiUppinangadi-Guruvayanakere-KuduremukhKalasa to Karkala city and going towards Udupi and Hebri, should reach Bandimutt bus stand through Bhavani circle-Karkala bypass circleNakre circle-taluk office road. After picking / dropping passengers, the buses should pass through Salmara route to old bus stand and pick / drop passengers. Later, they have to proceed towards PervajeKallotte, as per schedule. The buses which are exempted from entering Bandimutt bus stand, should reach old bus stand through three lane road and exit through PervajeKallotte.

The KSRTC, NWKSRTC and NEKSRTC buses coming to Karkala should pick / drop passengers at Bandimutt bus stand and exit through the named route only.
