Kundapur, Mar 30, 2014 : V Dhananjaya Kumar, JDS) candidate from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency has said that both the Congress and BJP would lose their existence in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
Participating in the JD(S) leaders and workers meeting convened at Parijatha Auditorium at Kundapur on March 29, Saturday, he said the minority population of the nation is over 35 crores and the nation would head towards a tragedy if the Congress and the BJP try to separate them from the main stream in order to grab power.
He said the BJP had refused a ticket to senior leader LK Advani from Bhopal just because it wants his defeat.
Continuing, he said the speeches of the BJP leaders were misleading the people and were making them day dream. He questioned why Sadananda Gowda who earlier represented Udupi constituency has now preferred to contest from Bangalore.
Gulam Mohammad, Udupi District JD(S) President, Mansoor Ibrahim, District JD(S) Minorities Cell President and several other party leaders were present.
