Bantwal, May 11, 2019: A bike rider sustained serious injuries when his two wheeler rammed into an autorickshaw  on the National Highway at BC Road on May 11, Saturday afternoon. The injured rider has been hospitalised.

The mishap occurred when the police led by Bantwal Traffic SI tried to stop the  speeding bike rider who was not wearing helmet. The impact of the collision of the bike  with the autorickshaw was such that the autorickshaw hit the embankment of the  flyover and  overturned. Both the vehicles were damaged in the mishap.
