Bike hits pedestrian crossing road at Mukka; rider dies

Mangaluru, Nov 26, 2023: A tragic incident unfolded at NH 66 near Mukka, when a bike rider lost his life and another suffered serious injuries following a collision on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Vaibhav Vishwanath, a 21-year-old final year computer science student at Srinivas University Institute of Engineering, Mukka. The injured individual is Farookh, the chief secretary of Jumma mosque in Mukka.
According to reports, the accident occurred as Farookh was crossing the road and Vaibhav, who was rushing to college, lost control of his bike and collided with Farookh.
The North Traffic Police Station has registered a case in connection with the incident, and investigations are underway.
