Bhasker Shetty’s hotel in news again : Gang assaults staff

Udupi, Dec 20, 2016: A gang which barged into the Hotel Durga International  owned by the slain businessman Bhasker Shetty on December 18 has reportedly assaulted the office in-charge  of the Hotel and has also threatened him.

According to the complaint lodged by the victim Sandesh,  the assaulters included  Bhasker Shetty’s  wife Rajeshwari Shetty’s sister Roopa, her son Bhargava Shetty and five others.

It has been gathered that the accused had   used a new lock to lock up the office in the hotel when Sandesh was in Bengaluru. It is said they summoned  Sandesh to the parking area of the hotel and assaulted him there. Sandesh who fled the place with the help of his friends, later lodged a complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, in another complaint, the hotel manager Ajith Kumar has alleged that he was  abused and threatened by Sandesh along with four others including Jayaraj and Pradeep Pai.  According to Ajith he was assaulted when he raised objection to their act of removing the lock of the office.

In another development, Roopa Shetty has also lodged a complaint stating that she too has been threatened.
