Bhasker Shetty case: Senior advocate M Shantharam Shetty is Special Public Prosecutor

Udupi, Oct 27, 2016: Senior advocate M Shantharam Shetty has been appointed Special Public Prosecutor by the government in the sensational businessman Bhasker Shetty murder case.

Bhasker Shetty... It may be recalled here that Shetty’s family members including his mother Gulabi Shetty had earlier approached the court with a request in this regard.

So far Senior Assistant Public Prosecutor Praveen Kumar R N was representing the Prosecution in the case in the Additional Civil Court and Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court while District Public Prosecutor Shanti Bai represented the Prosecution in the District and Sessions Court.

Meanwhile, the hearing with regard to the bail application of Bhasker Shetty’s wife and prime accused Rajeshwari has been postponed to October 28.
