Bengaluru train cancelled due to suspension of track near Shirivagilu

Mangaluru, Jul 20, 2019 : Sakleshpura- Subramanya Ghat section is witnessing incessant rainfall since 18.07.2019. Lose soil along with boulders is coming down in form of slurry and has covered the track between Shirivagilu and Subramanya Road Railway station at KM 86/6-7. One enormous rock at the same location is infringing the railway track and needs to be removed by blasting for safe running of trains.

Railway staffs are working continuous in the hostile weather to clear the slurry and dangerous rocks near the track.

To ensure safety of passengers it is decided to cancel/partial cancel/divert the following train services on 21.07.2019 and 22.07.2019.

DIVERSION
1. The service of Train No.16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar - KSR Bengaluru Express(Via Mysuru) journey commencing on 20th July 2019(Saturday) will be diverted to run via Shoranur-Palakkad Junction-Salem-Jolarpettai instead of Mangaluru Central-- Subrahmanya Road-Sakleshpur-Hassan and Mysuru.   

2. The service of Train No.16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru - Kannur/Karwar Express(Via Shravanabelagola) journey commencing on 20th July 2019(Saturday) will be diverted to run via Jolarpettai-Salem-Erode-Palakkad Junction-Shoranur Junction instead of Shravanabelgola-Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road-Mangaluru Central.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION
1. The service of Train No.16513 KSR Bengaluru -Karwar Express(Via Shravanabelagola) journey commencing on 20th July 2019(Saturday) will be partially cancelled between Mangaluru Central and Karwar.

2. The service of Train No. 16514 Karwar - KSR Bengaluru Express(Via Shravanabelagola) journey commencing on 21st July 2019(Sunday)will be partially cancelled between Karwar and Mangaluru Central.

CANCELLATION
1. The service of Train No. 16575 Yeswantpur - Mangaluru Junction Tri-Weekly Express (Via Shravanabelagola) scheduled to leave Yeswantpur on 21st July 2019(Sunday) is cancelled.

2. The service of Train No.16576 Mangaluru Junction-Yeswantpur Tri-weekly Express (Via Shravanabelagola) scheduled to leave Mangaluru Junction on 22nd July 2019(Monday) is cancelled.
