Belthangady, Jan 2, 2014: A young bike rider lost his life when his two-wheeler 
was knocked down by a lorry near Ujire in the wee hours of January 1, Wednesday.
The mishap took place at around 2 am, when the youth was returning home after dropping a friend. The lorry which was heading towards Belthangady from Ujire hit his bike resulting in serious head injuries to Shabeer (22) who died on the spot.
He was working as a driver in a motor driving school in the locality. Belthangady police have registered a case.
