Belthangady : Brutal murder of elderly couple at Kakkinje

Belthangady, Jan 11, 2016 : An 80 year old man and his wife who were staying in a house close by the petrol bunk at Kakkinje were found brutally murdered on January 11, Monday.
Those killed are Varghese and Eliyam(72). It is suspected to be a case of murder for gain.
It is believed that the couple were hit severely with sticks resulting in their death. The couple stayed by themselves while their children resided in some other place.
Senior police officials have rushed to the spot. A canine squad has also been pressed into service.
