Belthangady : 1 dead, another injured as pick-up van rams against bike

Belthangady, May 13,2016 : A head-on collision between a pick-up van and a bike at Uruvalu Aleji in the taluk on May 12, Thursday claimed the life of the bike rider while the pillion rider sustained serious injuries.

The deceased bike rider is K P Abdulla (38) from Kudradka in Machina village. His relative Yaqub who has been seriously injured has been hospitalised in Mangaluru.

The two were on way to Guruvayanakere from Uppinangady when the pick-up van rammed against their two-wheeler killing Abdulla on the spot. He has left behind his wife and three children.

Follow proper traffic rules proper reflector and side mirrors to the bikes and wearing helmets. Accidents can be avoided to some extent. If you do not follow these simple things . Just wait for RIP

These days riding two-wheeler seems risky. The mistake may be anyone’s but the danger is to the rider and pillion.
