Beltghangady: 19-year-old teenager drowns in Phalguni River

Belthangady, Oct 26, 2015: A 19 year old youth drowned in PhalguniRiver nearAdinje in Beltangady on Sunday October 25. The youth drowned is identified as Vishnu Hebbar (19). He was son of Sathish Hebbar .

vishnu A resident Indrahitlu nearAdinje. Vishnu was second year B.Sc student from Bhuvanendra College.

It is learnt that Vishnu along with his cousin had gone to the river for bath. They both decided to swim for some time and later have bath. Suddenly his cousin noticed Vishnu drowning and began to scream for help.

On hearing the scream Vishnu’s father and the local workers rushed to the spot and pulled Vishnu out from water,but their effort to save went in vain.

The Venur police are investigating the case.

For the family its hard to digest such news. Without any safety never get into the water to swim. The fact is carelessness.

In spite seeing and hearing still the youths do the same and loose life.Its the family who has to suffer life long .Once gone is gone forever.
