Bantwal, April 20, 2020:   Complete lockdown is being observed in Bantwal town  after a woman  from Bantwal died of Coronavirus on Sunday. As many as 20 people who were in contact with the woman have been quarantined. Even the  residents of the houses in the vicinity of the woman’s house, have been quarantined and all of them are brought to Mangaluru and kept under observation of the Health Department. Meanwhile, police are on the lookout for ten more persons who were in contact with the woman.

The throat swab samples of those in quarantine have been sent for lab tests.
