Bantwal : Woman jumps into pond with 2 yr old kid

Bantwal, June 27,2017 : A woman has ended her life by jumping into a pond along with her two year old son at Nekkare Kadu near Vittal on June 26, Monday.

pond The deceased are Nazia (35), wife of Mohammad and her son Nooman Ahmed.

The two reportedly went missing on Monday evening. After a frantic search the bodies were found in a pond near the house.

It has been gathered that Nazia was suffering from ill-health which had driven her to the extreme step.

Meanwhile, police are also trying to find if the two had accidentally slipped and drowned.

Vittal police are investigating.
