Bantwal : Rare white albino python spotted at Kavalakatte

Bantwal, June 05, 2020:    A very rare white python  which was spotted in a house at Kavalakatte in Bantwal taluk was trapped  by expert snake catcher Snake Kiran. The Python was then  safely handed over to  the authorities of Pilikula Nisargadhama.

 

 

 

This extremely rare white coloured python known as Albino was  seen in the house of  Naushad. The occupants of the house as well as residents of the area were panicky  on seeing the python. Later a friend of Naushad informed  Snake Kiran who arrived at the spot and  caught hold of the  python. It was later entrusted to the care of Pilikula as per the advice of forest officer Sridhar.

Snake Kiran says  this is the second time in Dakshina Kannada that a white albino has been spotted. The python was five feet long and  its age is estimated to be four or five years.
