Bantwal: Police arrest notorious Ganja peddler at Maripalla

Bantwal May 17, 2016: The police have arrested a man in connection with ganja smuggling at Maripalla on May 15, Sunday and seize 1.230 kgs of ganja.

ganjaThe person arrested is identified as Suresh. A resident of Chintamani in Chikkaballapur District.

The Bantwal police team lead by Sub Inspector Rakshith Gowda was checking the vehicles moving on Thumbay Junction.

On noticing police Suresh tried to escape, being suspicious about him the police chased him and arrested. He admitted that he was on his way to sell ganja in Thumbay, Melkar, Farangipet, Maripalla and many other places.
He has been produced before and sent to judicial custody of 15 days.

The investigation is going on in Bantwal police Station.

How harmful the ganja is . Especially the youths get trapped. The life is ruined completely by wrong step. The smuggling of Ganja cannot happen because of one or two. They must be a team involved in it.
