He woman from Kambalabettu in Vittal Police station limits had left home on September 3 along with her child stating she would go to a private bank a Periyaltadka to deposit some money of a Self Help Group. But, when she  did not return, there were rumours that she might have jumped into the Netravathi River near the Sahasralingeshwara Temple.

The woman’s father-in-law Pakeera had also lodged a missing complaint  at Vittal station.

The woman’s husband Satish worked in Mumbai while she stayed at her husband’s house in his hometown.  It is believed that she chose the extreme step as she was frustrated on living alone in the absence of her husband. It is also learnt that one of her brother-in-laws was bed-ridden at home.

Further investigations are underway.

How sad? The woman instead of taking extreme decision could share the problem with her family. Really pity the child because the child always trusts the mother and it always takes the side of her mother.
