Bantwal, Oct 18, 2017: A single judge bench of the High Court has granted conditional bail to eight accused in the case of murder of Karopady Gram Panchayat Vice President Abdul Jaleel.
Though eleven persons who are accused in the case had applied for bail only eight were given conditional bail. They have to furnish a bond for Rs one lakh, surety and also have to co-operate with the investigation. Those granted bail cannot also go out of the state without prior approval of the court.
Those granted bail are : Sachin, Roshan, Puneet, Vachan, Prajwal Rai, Pushparaj, , Keshav, and Prashanth. The prime accused in the case Rajesh Nayak, Satish Pai and Narasimha have been denied bail.
