Bantwal, Mar 09, 2023: The five persons arrested by the NIA from Nandavara, Puttur and Manjeshwar recently in connection with a terror act in Pulwari Sharief in Patna of Bihar, reportedly belong to the banned PFI and that they had transferred nearly Rs 25 crores to the terrorists.
This is said to be an inter-state hawala racket of the terror related activities of the PFI and that the NIA has found along with evidence that these PFI activists of DK and Kasargod were involved in this unlawful act.
The arrested Nawaz and Mohammad Sinan were reportedly entrusted the task of transferring the huge amount of funds remitted from abroad, to various bank accounts.
Those detained by the NIA are likely to be produced before a special court in Patna.Those arrested are Mohammad Sinan, Iqbal of Nandavara, Safraz Nawaz of Sajipa Muda, Abdul Rafiq of Puttur and Abid of Kunjattur near Manjeshwar.
