Bantwal August 06, 2016: A man accidentally falls into a pond at Kodam in Bantwal. The incident took place on August 05, Friday in the evening.


pond 06 aug 16The deceased is identified as Joseph Lobo(50). A resident of Paika In Bantwal .


It is learnt that Joseph  had gone to distribute milk, did not return home. His wife and children were in search of him  noticed his body floationg in a  pond .


The locals said that he had habit of smoking standing  near the pond. They suspect that he might have slipped off and fallen accidentally.


The Bantwal police are investigating the case
