Bantwal, June 15,2017 : Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Alok Mohan will be visiting Kalladka town on June 15, Thursday in the wake of the recent untoward incidents reported from the town. The ADGP will be reviewing the law and order situation in Kalladka, according to District Superintendent of Police Bhushan Gulab Rao Borase.
The SP stated that as of now 18 persons including those from both the communities have been arrested. He also made it clear that the public need not have any fear that innocents are being arrested. His clarification comes in the backdrop of a few families visiting the station on June 14, Wednesday evening seeking the release of a few people claiming they were innocent.
The SP said the situation in Kalladka is peaceful and that three additional contingents of KSRP from Chikkamgalur and Hassan have been summoned to maintain law and order in the town.
